Bonding
The application should be done once and for all. Aim the two surfaces, bond together and press. Don’t move the bonding surfaces back and forth, or the bonding effect will be affected.
Airing
After the application of the adhesive, enough time should be given to let the solvent evaporate completely to avoid bubbles or stickiness. The airing time is about 5-15 minutes/25C and varies on the temperature, humidity, and adhesive film. The bonding can be done after the surface is dry by touch. For porous materials, you can bond directly after the application of the adhesive.
Remarks
1. Seal it tightly and store it in a cool and well-ventilated place where the temperature is between 5℃ -35℃ and the relative humidity is ≤80%. Don’t expose it to the sun.
2. Volatile solvent contained. Do not swallow. Keep it far away from open fire because of the volatile solvent in it which is inflammable and out of reach of the children. The room should be well-ventilated during application.
3. No. of Regulation On Transporting Dangerous Goods: 32196
Tack time
The term "tack time" typically refers to the amount of time it takes for an adhesive such as glue to reach its initial bond strength after application. The tack time of glue can vary depending on several factors, including the type of glue used, the materials being bonded, and the environmental conditions.
Different types of glue have different tack times. For example, some quick-setting adhesives may have a tack time of just a few seconds, while others may require several minutes or even hours to reach their full bonding strength. It's important to consult the manufacturer's instructions or product specifications for specific information on the tack time of a particular glue.
Additionally, factors such as temperature, humidity, and the porosity of the materials being bonded can affect the tack time of glue. Higher temperatures and humidity levels generally accelerate the curing process and reduce the tack time, while lower temperatures and drier conditions may increase the tack time.
To ensure proper bonding, it's recommended to follow the instructions provided by the glue manufacturer, including the recommended curing or drying time. This will help ensure that the adhesive has sufficient tack time to form a strong bond between the materials.
